hi i am hitting the 4 months to deadline mark for this dvd project i have been talking about forever, and i am looking at the big picture here. at this point i am gonna have the looping animations but i am considering including extras, such as an interview with me (maybe that is a lame idea, i don't know), as well as some 'making of' type of stuff (regarding the animation), and maybe some kind of gallery of still art. maybe even some lightwave scene files for you to download and play with? i just want this thing to be cool so i thought i would see if you all had any suggestions. let me know any ideas you folks may have. p.s. adding Tool music or behind the scenes Tool video footage is probably not possible, so don't bother suggesting that

an interview would be cool. and a gallery is good idea too maybe add the option to turn on a commentary and you could go in to discribing your views on the piece or what was involved in the making of it

you GOTTA have an interview! yeah a commentary would be really good too, for most of your drawings. give us an idea of what u think about them and what they mean. Get ambiance music instead of tool. like......u know......ambiance.
Maybe have soemthing to do wtih teh artists that inspire you? like.....links to brom or something?

I think an interview would be great...although there is alot of info in your bio page and stuff, I think people would still be happy to hear if from you. Maybe you could put out a request to your fans...ask them to submit some questions...and then on the DVD have a section that would be sort of like a webcast, but not in real time. You could answer some select questions that fans have.
Also, maybe you can take some video footage over the next view months of different art shows you are going to be in, or maybe have been in. I think it would be cool for some of the fans to be able to see those art shows.
Oh yeah, and this one would be great...Maybe make some interactive Flash Games on the dvd. You know, like make an animated chet body with a Chet Picture (Sort of like how The guys from South Park always do celebs) running through streets having to dodge movie execs who have become Zombies. Maybe the animated Chet would be trying to get some prize...like, hmm, maybe his art supplies that were stolen by the evil Zombie Overlord...
WEll, those are some things I thought I would throw out there...

The 'making of' should definately be included. I would really like to see how you work.
Being a huge TOOL fan, getting some of them to talk about the concert footage would be awesome. No big deal, tho, I guess they have their own DVD to worry about.

i dont think getting tool to talk is relevant. Chets a good enough artist to stand on his own two feet.

Hello Chet,
I was wondering if your DVD was just going to be based upon your animations and artworks or if it was going to have some make-up effects works of yours as well?
If you had any footage of the designing/process of make-up effects works you have done that would be awesome to see on the DVD. If you didn't have any footage, still images would still be really effective with some info about them.

I just think it would be cool to hear straight from the horse's mouth how the animations mesh with the music. Of course, hearing Chet say this would be good, too.

Show us some "inedit works", more paintings or draws, some animations, that stuff.
"Making of" thing, that is good...
Explain the concept of many works
Yeah, some videos of the art shows you have been or will be...
And many zombies stuff!!

i think putting on some of your lightwave files and a 'making of' would be great, as well as the footage of art exabitions your work has been in.
will the animations loop forever like untill you go back to the menu, or will the loop a certain amont of times and then go on to the next one?
thanks
