Hey everyone. I created a blog page a few days ago with the purpose to review and interview some of my favorite artists and musicians in hopes of getting them more exposure. To me it's the next best thing to an actual magazine since I'm an actual fan of these artists, it's free, and with the help of fans, friends, and others we can all help a great deal. For 2010 I plan on having 6 total review/interview blog posts, one posted every other month. I asked Chet if he'd like to be part of it and he said he will definitely do it. The other 4 I won't mention yet. For my first one I chose J. Slattum (also a member of these here message boards), please post the link around if you'd like to help: madsweeney616.wordpress.com/Many thanks!!

BUMP! I had to edit the post because the blog I had started got closed because it got censored for some stupid reason. So the current link up there (which for reposting sake is this: madsweeney616.wordpress.com/ ) is the new one which works and hopefully won't get censored. Not even sure why it got censored in the first place.

Finally getting more activity going on it now that with my new computer and its new version of iMovie I can upload videos to youtube through that. I've been having problems uploading my videos straight through youtube. Not sure why. Anyway, after about a year I'm finally able to upload some awesome videos: madsweeney616.wordpress.com/I also started a Flickr account so I can upload pics from Italy, Vienna, Lake Isabella, etc. which will be linked on my wordpress blog.

By the way, check out that video of Clevis performing 'Mobius'. This was their second show as a trio, which they now are. They just recently got done writing a 30 minute prog masterpiece. I'll have more really awesome stuff from Clevis as well as other musicians coming soon!

Cool i saw justin slattum had natural born killers on his list, when i saw his painting the judgement on your last blog i was gonna say it really looked like something from out of that movie, i didn't though but i'm sure it was inspired by it.

it was fun to put that list together even because it's cool to see how big an impact these movies have made on their life and art. Just shows how inspiration from something really affects people and their work.

I bought this old horror collection dvd it had 3 moviesa on it, one was Night of th living dead. I didn't really get to profound a meaning from it, I guess outta my time or something, it was cool that they actaully featured the zombies feasting and stuff, gets even more gruesome in dawn, That black dude was definitly the protagonist, deals with people having to deal with each other in a bizarre situation, I think i saw savinis verson first where the female lead isn't so hysterical, Something i sort of realizes was the situation would have been harder if the people were facing other human beings trying to killl them than zombies. Like in war or something. idk

I'd have to watch those zombie movies again. It's gotten to a point where there have been so many of them and so many remakes that it's hard to start anywhere and hard to keep up with. Or at least it is for me. When I was about 7 years old I remember watching one of them and I really enjoyed it even though it was kinda creepy for me at the time. That must have been the original one.

Yeah i can really rremember enjoying the Tom savini colourized night of the living dead, it may have been the first zombie film i watched, on t.v. i forget how old i was maybe 12 or in my teens. I saw both you and chet have One flew over the cukkoos nest, i watched that a few years ago, sad how he does so much good for the mental patients and the nurses lobotomize him in the end, I talked to a friend who read the book, says the story in the book was told from the big cheifs point of view.
