Chet, that is a really awesome piece. Good luck with the bids on it. I wish I wasn't broke right now so I could compete too.

So are you saying that's to expensive or you are going to bid on it? No I don't think its expensive, besides, art is priceless sometimes. And yeah maybe I might bid on it. Who knows! But we will see... TK

How come its getting sold on Ebay? that thing could totally sell in a gallery setting! thanks. i have shown it once before at a show, but it didn't sell. it was just hanging on my wall and i am trying to bring in some extra $ this month, so i asked my wife to post it. i think i may try more, it seems like an easy way to sell my originals and keep it affordable. you know, at a gallery they usually take %50 (even %60 at some, i have heard), so i have to double the amount i am willing to take for it. plus, i really want to get my stuff out there, and out of my house so i can make new ones!

So are you saying that's to expensive or you are going to bid on it? i could see how it may have sounded like that, but i think sidespin was saying that it sounded like a good price, therefore worth watching. he has been a great supporter of my work, and i know that he holds the value of art in high regard. correct me if i am wrong, sidespin. don't mean to put words in your mouth!

You got it in one Chet! That's what I was trying to get it, but I wasn't being clear. I can see how it was taken the wrong way. (My fault...the internet, I always forget that there is no tone and body laguage to ones and zeros.) I think its great to see it at that price! Not too mention, for those collectors who only look at the monetary value of the art, they can use things like Ebay to maybe judge the pieces they purchased. I mean, if someone pays 300 bucks for this piece now, in 10 years, they might be able to see more being sold on ebay for an increased value and thus adjust the value of theirs. You know, that whole appreciation of value philosophy. I think your approach is the right one Chet. Those Vultures at the art galleries will just try to squeeze you. Later Skaters TK

Ya i knew you took it that way . Maybe I was a little to strong. Anyways it is a excellent piece for whoever is lucky enough to get it. I know if I had the money I'd bid on it. Keep up the good work Chet!!
